This paper focuses on learning routine on the basis of emotive situations. A certain routine is used depending on a certain situation. The routines are differently used according to the various factors like job, topic, place, participator etc. This paper is concerned with a routine used in a emotive situation. Using some movie which shows a natural emotion, some situation which shows affection of love and anger of disagreement is selected. In each situation some affective routine and some angry routine is used. This certain routine and its function in dialogue are analysed. In fact routine is divided into two types which are a general routine and a expression formulaic way like routine. For example, thank you very much is called a general routine but thank you for∼ in 'thank you for coming' is called a expression formulaic way. These two kinds of routine are used in every emotive situation and these routine research is important for ESL learners, especially second language beginner. In fact, to ESL teachers or professors, this work may be very stressful. But once a routine data of a essential emotion-happiness, sadness, anger- is done, a lot of routine data can be upgraded whenever new movie or new routine is researched.
