Abstract |
As an effective way to teach or learn English, movies have been an attractive tool for both teachers and students. However, in the current market, it is difficult to find adequate materials for screen English which meet specific needs and wants. As a result, it has become inevitable for teachers to devise their own lesson plans based on students' language goals. In order to make a satisfactory lesson plan, teachers should first choose a movie based on student interest. Secondly, teachers should consider students' age, level, and language goals. Thirdly, the methodology should depend on what students want to learn from the movie. Teachers can then select language activities relevant to students' wants. Finally, since it is authentic material, teachers have to use the movie and script as many times as possible. |
